The Private labeling 2.0 concept consists of a pot with a label slot combined with a printed label that can be made in any desired design. The design of the labels and the pot are such that labels do not hang forward. The labels are clipped to the pot so they cannot be changed at the point of sale.
The label can be printed on-demand in any design. The plant descriptions are available in all languages and the labels can be provided with barcode, plant passport and price and in the customer’s house style. The labels can also be provided with a back print with general information about the plant or about the retailer. The labels are finished with a coating making them scratch-resistant and water- and UV-resistant.
Private labeling 2.0 provides a high degree of flexibility because all desired information can be shown on the label. It is also a sustainable solution compared to printed labels because only the number of labels required for an order is printed. The short production time and elimination of minimum quantities makes private labels available to a much larger group of customers. Also smaller customers with a wider assortment can now have labels available in the desired language and even in the corporate identity of the garden center. The concept is a collaboration between Bremmer Boomkwekerijen BV, TSD with Wintree, Van Tuijl Plastics, Labelpro and Labeltech. Bremmer Boomkwekerijen BV markets it and has also submitted it for the inspection.
